Sneaker wedges are all the rage, especially among celebrities. The popular footwear has adorned the feet of dozens of female entertainers, from Evelyn Lozada to Beyonce. Of course we understand why. Sneaker wedges are stylish, comfy and versatile.
They add an extra edge to casual outfits or can be the focus of a drab ensemble, which is one of the reasons we included sneaker wedges in our fall wardrobe essentials list. But as we said in that list, sneaker wedges are a hit or miss. It all depends on what they’re paired with.
So we’ve turned to three style bloggers – Sarah Rae of Ravings by Rae, Mattie James of Mattieologie and Neslihan Can of Fashiones – to show us three funky ways to rock the sneaker wedge with confidence.

Sarah Rae balances simple and edgy well with her take on this booming trend. The Ravings by Rae extraordinaire pairs her black sneaker wedges with Aztec-printed leggings. Printed leggings are a risky move, but Rae nails it by only donning neutral colors. She edges up the look with a black lace-back blouse that is a definite showstopper. We love to layer our clothing to ward off the cool autumn breeze. Mattie James is fabulous at this fall trick, pairing multiple colors and textures together. Her striped shirt, burgundy jeans and tan sneaker wedges plays with the traditional fall palette well, but she breaks up the darker hues with a bright pink scarf. Check out Mattie’s full post here.

International fashion bloggers are amazing, and the fabulous Neslihan is no exception. The Austrian-native is serving in a twisted sweatshirt, similar to the one Christina fell in love with at a Phillip Lim for Target event. Neslihan pairs her sweatshirt with a chic red skirt, black tights and adorable black sneaker wedges. She looks like the student she is, complete with a gold watch to keep her on schedule.
