Having a TWA can be a gift and a curse at times. I recently big chopped from shoulder length hair to a tapered TWA. Although I’ve been enjoying the change, I find that styling my hair comes with a completely new set of challenges now. When my hair was longer I had the option of rocking “protective styles” like two flat twists or a low bun on bad hair days. With shorter hair there is no such thing as a bun. The good thing about a dilemma is that it forces you to get creative at times. If you have a TWA or a tapered cut keep reading for 4 easy ways to spice up your hair!

Another look from my Spring 2015 lookbook, this week I’m obsessing over this Fashion To Figure Safari Print Jumpsuit ($35.00). One thing that makes me excited for the change in season are the pieces I can now break out of the closet. I love wearing fun printed jumpsuits for spring.
Wanna know a secret? I love a good dress but jumpsuits are like my secret lovers. I don’t wear them all the time but when I do, it’s magic!
I still remember back in 2013 when I attended the Coachella Music Festival for the first time. I had SO much fun.I posted a full recap about it here. From the music to the live parties and the celeb run-ins, it was really an amazing time.
Above all I enjoyed people-watching the most. Festival style is so unique for every individual. Half the fun is seeing how people dress up!
For my first Spring 2015 Lookbook outfit, I decided to show you guys how to rock a distressed denim dress. Here I’m wearing the Denim Dreamer Dress from Fashion to Figure. I don’t think I’ve worn a full denim dress since my Junior High School days. This one is fun and updated for adulthood with it’s shape and cut.

1. What are some of your favorite nail colors for spring 2015? For spring I’m loving the warmer pastels, very moody, soothing with less white pigments and not as bright. Grey blues, soft vintage pinks and subdued greens.
2.What nail shapes are going to be popular this spring?
Almond nails are still a fashion fave and currently I’m sporting a pointier almond nail.
3. How can our readers translate extravagant nail trends like 3D elements into our style for everyday wear?
If you see 3D nails you can always tone it down using light glitter and replacing stones by making dots. The most important thing to keep in mind is tailoring the nail look to fit into everyday real life.

With all the domestic and international fashion weeks over, it’s time to sit and make sense of it all. Designers spared no expense to pull off their over the top creations for Spring 2015. Although there were thousands of looks presented, there were a few standout pieces that deserve special recognition. In the name of all things stylish, let’s send fashion week off with a bang and celebrate the best in show for Spring 2015.
Oh Karl, how we love you! ChanelSpring 2015 was absolutely amazing. The presentation alone, will go down in fashion HERstory as one for the books, per usual. This tweed trench with brightly colored lining and matching knee boots stole the show! So classicly Chanel, but with a modern twist.
Blumarine nailed it with this transparent mesh and floral appliche gown. I can so picture celebs like Nikki or Katy taking a number and standing in line to wear this dress come award season. It’s serving me simultaneous sex appeal and softness, and I love it.
I was floored when I saw this linear and geometric masterpiece by Balmain. For me this is what the European runway is all about. Drama! Balmain, known for in your face bold creations killed this season! This look however was all I needed to see.
This gorgeous J. Mendel gown moved like water. Pictures don’t do it no justice. From the color-blocking to the sky scrapping split, this dress is definitely for a grown (bleep) woman. It’s attention grabbing and powerful just like the woman it was made for. It was without a doubt one of my favs of the season.
Who doesn’t look forward to Alexander McQueen every season, I know I do. His show stopping designs literally take a few years for everyone to catch up to. McQueen collections give me the chills, I can always tell how much work went into each intricate detail, and this season was now different. This jumpsuit and bandeau may as well have just slapped me in the face. I was struck. Case closed.
