#FabFriday: How To Wear Stripes

fabfriday-announcement

Happy Friday guys! Myself and a few of my blogger friends have decided to join together and start a weekly post in which we show off how we rock different trends. Everybody has that one item in their closet or beauty cabinet that they just won’t pull out because they’re not sure how exactly to wear it. What better way to get inspiration? Take a look at how other people do it.

So I’ve teamed up with Jessica of Glamazons Blog and Lexi of LexiWithTheCurls to start the Fashion And Beauty Friday (#FabFriday) style post series. On Fridays, we want to see how YOU guys rock different trends. If you have a blog or website, you can join in too! Simply include a link to your post in the #FabFriday widget down below. First up is stripes!

For curvy girls (especially those that are top heavy like me), the key to rocking horizontal stripes is doing them in a silhouette that plays up your assets. For me, because I’m top eavy, I aim for v-neck tops – they’re slimming, they elongate my neckline and they allow for just a hint of boobage (any more and it becomes R-rated…real quick).
