Now that I’m a fly momma to a little princess, everything I do and use in my day-to-day life has to have multiple uses. As a style blogger, having the right gadgets to capture great images while still responding to important business email, is a necessity. Also since I’m a girl on the go who often travels for business (and sometimes pleasure) I need gadgets on hand that serve multiple uses. Enter the line of Intel-powered 2-in-1 tablets. Intel powers intelligent, connected devices that make life simpler. I recently discovered the Intel-powered Dell Venue 11 Pro and so far I’m loving it. Here are three reasons why:
1. The SD Card Slot
Even though my day-to-day includes use of mostly Apple products, what I love about the Intel 2-in-1 tablets is that they come equipped with a SD memory card slot. This may seem like a minor advantage over the iPad, for example, but when you’re a style blogger who takes pictures as much as I do on the go, having a handy SD slot on your tablet is EVERYTHING. You know what that means? I don’t have to lug my Macbook on business trips with me just to upload photos from my camera. Yes girl yes! It also means I can download images and upload them to my blog on the spot. That feature alone, for me, makes it worth the money.
2. Battery Life
One thing I can’t stand (especially because it happens to me ALL the time) is poor battery life on an all-in-one gadget. They tell you the item can “do it all” but then it only lasts you for two hours. In the words of Sweet Brown – “ain’t nobody got time for that!”.
What I like about this tablet is that it actually lasts for a pretty long time. Necessary for someone like me who is now juggling blog posts, and baby feedings, and conference calls and nail polish and dirty diapers all at once – ALL DAY. I really don’t have time to recharge until late at night – literally and figuratively.
3. From Tablet to Mini Desktop
All of the Intel 2-in-1 tablets, like my Dell Venue Pro 11 pictured here, come compatible with portable keyboards. The mini keyboard really turns it into a mini desktop on the go.
With all the featured programs included I can get SO much done. And I love the resolution on it. I can see everything bright and clear, especially photos (important for every creative entrepreneur) and of course my website.
What say you? Do you have a tablet? If so, which one?
