Kickin’ It: Jill Scott Listening Session

Last Thursday I had the opportunity to hear one of my favorite artists Jill Scott live in NYC during her first East Coast listening session for new album “Light of The Sun”. Let’s just say, I can’t wait for this album release. The songs are sassy, fearless and honest. Love seeing growth in an artist I hold dear to my heart.

I loved every tune Jill belted with pride, and those curvy backup singers she had on stage were giving me life! All in all, it was an amazing show. 
Jill showed up dressed in black lace and gold accessories, with a chic short cut to match. Disclaimer: Apparently Jill and I are twins separated at birth. “Hey, anyone ever tell you that you resemble Jill Scott?” The answer is yes. Not mad at it either, she’s gorge. See for yourself.

  4. Jill is beautiful as usual. I have been looking forward to this new album for so long now, I can’t wait for it to drop!! I’m definitely going to purchase this CD and add it to the others. And is that the COVER??!?! I WANT TO BE HER RIGHT THERE!! THAT THANG IS FABULOUS! The modern, 70’s vibe is what I want in my attitude and wardrobe. Fantastic!
