Last Thursday evening at the INGLOT Cosmetics studio loft in Chelsea, LoveBrownSugar.com celebrated its 4 year anniversary in the blogging world. Can you believe it’s been over 4 years since LoveBrownSugar made its debut?
The night was extra special for me as in addition to celebrating my site’s 4 year anniversary we also unveiled the “big secret” I’ve been keeping hidden. The LoveBrownSugar family is growing! Now, in addition to LoveBrownSugar.com we have BabyBrownSugar.com – a blog all about my new journey as an expecting mother and stories, advice and more for first-time parents everywhere.
Shea Moisture, one of my favorite beauty brands offering all-natural haircare and skincare products, was the title sponsor of the event. Each guest went away with Shea Moisture goodies and on display were products from Shea Moisture’s BABY line which I’m already in love with and I’m sure I’ll be using on #babybrownsugar out the womb.
A huge thanks to The Teknique Agency who sponsored our luxe beauty bar. Guests were treated to deluxe mini manicures courtesy nail artist Candace Idehen and mini makeovers courtesy makeup artist Neema Ali (who also beat my face for the evening using INGLOT Cosmetics and did a superb job).
I have to thank all of the lovely guests who came through and supported the event – thanks for making our evening so special.
DJ Carver the Great did an amazing job on the 1’s & 2’s for the evening. Also shout-out to my lovely mother who catered the event – her food is the best, seriously.
