For my first Spring 2015 Lookbook outfit, I decided to show you guys how to rock a distressed denim dress. Here I’m wearing the Denim Dreamer Dress from Fashion to Figure. I don’t think I’ve worn a full denim dress since my Junior High School days. This one is fun and updated for adulthood with it’s shape and cut.
I don’t typically do shift dresses at all because I hate my tummy. I always do fit & flare. But this piece has a nice stretch to it that made it more wearable for someone like me with curves.

I like to pair denim with fun accessories, prints and bright colors. I wore it with my favorite ankara backpack (also worn here) custom made in Ghana by a friend of mine.
Love this Calypso Coin bracelet from Fashion To Figure. It wraps around the arm and up to the knuckle with a ring attachment.
I’ve found one trick to elongate me when I’m wearing a silhouette that could steer towards unflattering is to throw on some heels. These are from Shoedazzle. They’re high but with a platform so they’re pretty comfortable. Plus they’re lace-up which is always fun.
