Transitional weather can be the absolute hardest to dress for. It’s not quite hot enough to rock shorts and a tank top but certainly not cold enough for a coat. There are a few classic pieces I make sure are in my closet every Spring because they are easily interchangeable and they go with pretty much everything.

Must-Have: The Leather Jacket

This is a piece every fashionista should have in her closet. They are always in style, they look good with everything and they’re perfect for in-between weather.

Must-Have: Comfortable Jeans

Emphasis on the “comfort” part. Great jeans are hard to come by. You need at least 1-2 pairs that fit you like a glove. If you’re curvy like me, you want to aim for denim with a bit of stretch so they mold perfectly to your body. This pair from ASOS is one of my favorites.

Must-Have: The Perfect White Blouse

Another great staple for your closet is a nice crisp white blouse. Because I’m busty, it’s very hard to find white oxford tops that work for me. So I don’t wear them. Instead I opt for nice detailing like ruffles, v-necklines that compliment my shape and roomier a-line tops that disguise imperfections in my midsection. This top, believe it or not, is from ASOS Maternity (similar style here). It was my go-to when I was pregnant and I can still wear it now.

Must-Have: Statement Accessories

Bold accessories are important every season. Springtime is a great time to try out some fun new colors. So get rid of the dreary blacks, grays and browns by adding a pop of color to your handbag and shoes.
