LBS Giveaway: Curly Girl Handbook

Noted as one of my fave summer reads this season, I’m excited to have the opportunity to give away three copies of the Curly Girl: The Handbook by Lorraine Massey. The founder of Devachan Salon and DevaCurl hair care products created this book to dispel myths about curls and to educate on important techniques for taking care of your hair type. Like I discussed in LBS Picks: Summer Reads, the Curly Girl: The Handbook is for us natural hair divas who need a little guidance and direction about properly caring for our curls.

Comment below for your chance to win a copy!
Last day to comment is Friday, July 29th. Three winners will be announced on Monday, August 1st. Restricted to US residents only.

  1. This book would really help in my transition period. I did the big chop in February and I’m sporting a lil fro. I’m working on finding the product for moisture and proper curl.

  2. When you put it on your reading list I put it on mine! I would be more than happy to win this now that I am interested in reading it. So with that said, PLEASE pick me!

  3. Great giveaway! Count me in! I’m still learning how to take care of my natural curls 2 years later and I would love to read this book

  4. I would definitely love to win this book – I need some serious help with my hair right now! I’m at my wits end and I’m sure the book would help! =)

  5. Aside from wanting to win this book, (lol), I just wanted to say I’m enjoying the beginning of my journey to loving my curls, it’s on my bigger goal/journey to loving myself! This book would definitely help!

  6. As someone who is 13 months into her transition, I still need all the help I can get! So glad they are coming out with so many resources for girls like us! 🙂

  7. I have one of several books you listed this as part of your summer reading list. I would love to read this book.
