For those of you who don’t follow LoveBrownSugar on Twitter, I thought I’d give you a tiny update on my weekend ramblings. Me and my boyfriend went cruising around uptown today. That’s me above (never mind my frizzy hair – blame it on NYC humidity) in one of my fave new H&M tops and some street vendor aviators.
I think one of my absolute fave activities on a sunny Saturday afternoon is thrifting. I’ve just recently moved to Harlem and to my surprise and delight there are some amazing thrift places in the neighborhood.
I scored this really awesome leather shoulder bag (pictured above) at the local Salvation Army. Dirt cheap – only $4.99!
I also scored this oversized printed button-up that I kinda turned into a summer jacket/dress. I layered it over my body-con mini and slapped a belt over it once I got home. Drab to fab? What do you think?
