Confessions of a Shopaholic: Phillip Lim for Target Collection Launch

On Thursday night, I was invited to the exclusive Phillip Lim for Target collection launch. As Target’s first collaboration with designer Phillip Lim, I knew this was going to be epic. I absolutely adore his 3.1 Phillip Lim collections, so I was doing cartwheels when I heard about this collaboration. As everyone assumed, I wasn’t disappointed. Phillip Lim’s fall collection for Target launching September 15th is everything you want in your closet and more.

phillip-lim-for-target-looksHis collection features really cool and on-trend elements like the “cartoon-themed” sweatshirts and graphic prints everyone is obsessed with this season, to structural basics like the navy boyfriend blazer Solange is rocking above and my absolute fave – leopard print! I die. Check out some of the pieces I snagged on Thursday night.

This super-functional carry all bag is faux leather (but it looks real!) and retails for only $54.99. Definitely one of my favorite handbags in the collection, it is such a great closet staple!

This leopard sweater is one of the pieces I was dying to get and I’m SO glad I snagged one before they were all gone. It is so soft and comfortable and comes in a really iconic print that’s pretty classic and will work for years to come. This one retails at $34.99.

And this beauty is like a two-for-one. It’s a dress that’s essentially a sweatshirt top and a sheer skirt. I LOVE this piece. It is so comfy, it fits perfectly over my baby bump and I like that it’s in the fun comic book/cartoon theme. It retails at $44.99.

I’ve already started rocking my Phillip Lim for Target handbag. I wore it all day during day 2 of NYFW. In love with my new pieces!
