LBS Review: Reebok Skyscapes + GIVEAWAY

reebok-skycape-reviewNow that I’m a full-time mom, I’m finding it much harder to throw on a pair of stilettos just for the hell of it. After all, balancing in heels is a much harder feat when you have a little mini-me in one hand and a diaper bag in the other. So my day-to-day is much more balanced as far as footwear. When I do wear sneaks, I won’t settle for anything less than cute and comfy. I like my footwear to still be stylish and fun. I had the opportunity to try out these sneakers from the new Reebok Skycape collection, and they’re officially my new “running errands with baby in tow but must still look cute” sneakers. They are super lightweight at only 5 ounces and they are made of this material, this stuff that’s similar to what they use in lingerie, that makes them so soft & silky. Like I can literally wear them all day with no issue.

Just last week I took BabyBrownSugar (aka baby Cadence) on her very first afternoon stroll around the park. I packed her up in her little car seat, rode down to the park and strapped her up to her baby carrier after finally figuring out how to clip it on. With all the other things on my mind, the last thing I want to worry about was how my shoes look or feel.

So I decided to wear my black & pink Reebok Skycapes. They are SO comfortable. They feel like second skin. What’s even better is that they’re machine washable. So all that walking back and forth on the park’s grass, spilling milk while trying to get the baby to stop crying, all those little “new mommy” messes? Gone once you pop these babies in the washing machine.
