It’s almost here! We are 3 days away from this weekend’s #ShopLoveBrownSugar Holiday Pop-Up shop & celebration in NYC! I’m so excited to finally unveil some of the Limited Edition items I’ve been working on in anticipation of the event. If you know me, you know I’m very supportive of small businesses especially those created and operated by people of color (see my list of faves here). I’m so passionate about supporting indie designers and brands and I’m incredibly excited to present this round up of amazing Shop LoveBrownSugar Limited Edition items that I co-created:

LLULO Limited Edition Shirts

I worked directly with indie brand LLULO on the creation of these Limited Edition sweatshirts and baby onesies to celebrate LoveBrownSugar’s 5 Year Anniversary.

I picked out this fabric because it’s beautiful, it has the LoveBrownSugar colors and I thought it was a great representation of the brand! I really hope you’ll like it as well.

I’ve been working with Michelle of LLULO since 2011 on the promotion of her brand. I think it’s such a dope collection and I’m happy to share it with you all.

INSPIRADO.co Inspirational Mugs

You guys know how important it is for me to be inspired daily and I try do the same for all of you. I post my Monday Motivation stories weekly and also post motivational quotes on social media. Who doesn’t need a little pick-me-up every now and again? I fell in love with these products from Inspirado.co I mentioned in this home decor post and thereafter I’ve been working with them on producing really awesome gifts based on my personal mottos.

This “Get Up. Dress Up. Show Up.” was a no-brainer. We all need a little push sometimes to “show up” even when we don’t feel like it. Getting dressed in something that makes you feel amazing always helps.

And this mug about taking chances was inspired by a quote I posted on Instagram a while back. I’m all about taking chances. No risk, no reward.

The Wrap Life Limited Edition Wraps

From the moment I ran across The Wrap Life on Instagram I was in LOVE. They offer such amazing prints for their head wraps and how can you not love their super cute 15 second tutorials for wrapping the fabric?

I’m so honored to offer two Limited Edition collaboration wraps with The Wrap Life for this weekend – the “Brown Sugar” wrap (pictured above) and the “Love Wrap”.

I had way too much fun trying it on. There’s something so special about a great turban. The perfect weekend coverup.

TNENMRODA Limited Edition Sunnies

I’ve known the founder of accessories brand TNEMNRODA for years now and I’ve seen her take her brand from just an idea to actual products over the years. I even featured her in a story for Time Out New York here. I’m so very proud of all her accomplishments and she will be one of our vendors at this Saturday’s Shop LoveBrownSugar Holiday Pop-Up.

She created these super fun and stylish sunnies bases around my personality, my likes and my favorites. They are so fun and I can’t wait to wear them to my next summer festival! These and her assortment of sunnies will be available this weekend.

Belle Butters

I first tried out the line of Belle Butters products this summer. They make some really awesome shea-butter based products including whipped butters, oils and more. The Premium Whipped Shea Butter has been a mainstay in my household ever since.

I use it for my hair, my body (great sealant for after the shower) and I even use it in BabyBrownSugar’s hair (see her hair regimen here).

For this weekend’s event only, Belle Butters will be offering a Limited Edition “Love” butter scented with hibiscus. Man, listen. Tasha, the owner, sent me a sample of our collaboration in the mail this week and I literally have been walking around the house with it in my left hand sniffing it throughout the day. IT. SMELLS. SO. GOOD. You need this butter in your life.

Andrea Bocchio Limited Edition Kupa Bracelets

You guys know I’m all about amazing jewelry. I love a good statement piece. When I ran into Andrea Bocchio’s booth at Afropunk this summer, I was really impressed by her hand woven jewels.

I especially loved this best-selling Kupa bracelet from her collection. For the pop-up shop this weekend, she’ll be offering it in LBS colors pink & white.

It’s a great statement piece and an arm party all of its own. You can also easily pair it with your other arm candy.

Pardon My Fro Limited Edition Design

Back in 2011, I introduced you guys to Dana Bly of Olive Paperie and Pardon My Fro. She designed these amazing stationary designs of me using pictures she found on my blog. That was my first and only time being illustrated and I thought it was so DOPE. We’ve kept in touch ever since and I literally have her prints, her calendars and her stationary all over my office (she’s also in this home decor post).

Just for the Shop LoveBrownSugar event, Pardon My Fro will be vending in NYC for the very first time and offering items with our Limited Edition design. Every thing from throw pillows to stationary and more.

These designers and brands have put their all into these Limited Edition products and I’m so grateful and honored that they’ve decided to work with me on these. Please support them this weekend! If you’re based in NYC, purchase a ticket here and come out to shop for all your holiday gifts!
