Runway Review: Best of Fall 2015

Runwa y Review Fall 2015 CollageThere are literally hundreds of presentations that take place during fashion week, and I’m just speaking of the domestic showcases. One can literally go into a fashion tizzy from all of the new trends, ideas, and statements that are presented each season. But luckily for us, the stars always align in our favor and designers display similar ideas that we can digest as trends. Fall 2015 is no different, and there are indeed a few standout trends that we can take note of to look out for come fall.

Le Epic Legwear

Take note loves, designers like Libertine, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, and Tommy Hilfiger all incorporated amazing hosiery within their runway presentations. A super wearable trend, legwear will be great for fall and also transition perfectly into the winter. What makes this trend so practical is the fact that it can literally be worn by anyone no matter the age, height, shape, or gender. So you know what that means right!!?… Time to go tights shopping!

More is More

Throw being understated out of the window, there were tons of embellished looks making their way down the runway. Seen in tons of shows including Reem Acra, Libertine, Alice + Olivia, and more designers used whatever they could get their hands on to add a little jazz to their fall statements. Heavy beading, embroidery, rhinestones, and sequins were just a few elements used as a wow factor. A great statement coat with heavy embellishments paired with something more simply underneath, is a great way to rock this trend next fall.

Fur for the Win

You must admit, when someone walks into the room with a bad (as in good) fur on people take notice. Fur will always and forever be an instant way to glam things up. Whether you prefer faux or real, a fur thrown over your shoulders will be so IN for Fall 2015. Ralph Lauren, Jason Wu, Michael Kors, and Prabal Gurung  all added fur to their fall lineup and you should too!

There you have it. The best of Fall 2015! Which trends are your favorite’s for fall?
