NYFW is in full swing and this year designer Laquan Smith debuted his spring 2016 collection at the The Refinery Rooftop Hotel in Midtown New York. The elegant and bold looks were effortlessly paired with stunning beauty looks. Keep reading to get the scoop on the backstage beauty looks at LaQuan Smith X Shea Moisture SS16 show!
In order to compliment the sophisticated sexy looks lead hair stylist Kazuma Murata opted for a subtle retro bee-hive. The look was strong and feminine. To create this hair style the SheaMoisture team started by working the professional smooth finish therm protection into the hair to help fight frizz and to nourish the hair before heat styling. Next with a large paddle brush she seperated the hair into two sections using the professional smooth finish blow dry cream. Then she created this bouffant like shape using the fruit fusion coconut water weightless texture spray. To finish and set the look she used the coconut and hibiscus hold & shine moisture mist.
The effortless natural makeup look was also created using the Shea Moisture cosmetics line. Get the makeup look with these four simple steps:
1. Prime the face using SheaMoisture Cosmetics Primer for smooth, long-lasting makeup application.
