LBS Chic: Pastels In The Fall With Simply Be

pastels-for-fall

So I posted last week about how to interject color into your fall wardrobe with Bright Coats. Another trend that people tend to reserve for the spring/summer, is rocking pastels. I don’t think you should be restricted to wearing pretty florals and pastels in the spring time only. Forget the “rules” and wear what makes you feel good. Give pastels in the fall a try.

What first caught my eye about this Simple Be PU Pink Biker Style Jacket (on sale now for $77.95!) was the pretty color and the construction. I love a good biker jacket because it adds an unexpected edge to any outfit. But the pink color on this one makes it more princess than punk. I really like this piece.

I’m definitely that girl that will still wear floral dresses long after the temperature drops. They make you feel so pretty! Perfect for weekend brunch, church or family functions. This Simply Be Drop Waist Floral Tunic Dress (on sale for $46.95) is a great option. It’s boxy shape compensates for my midsection, which I really don’t like.

Be careful with drop-waist styles if you’re more hourglass or bottom heavy, though as they can have a tendency to swallow you up.

An easy way to integrate pastels into your wardrobe if you don’t want to go as far as a pastel pink jacket is to add in a cute bag in a fun pastel color. This minty blue Roll Over Bag With Over Sized Zip is the perfect way to infuse a little spring happy into your fall/winter closet.

With my pastels, I toned down the look with minimal jewelry and nude pumps.

Have you ever rocked pastels in the fall/winter? Would you consider it?
