*Screams like a fashion loving pre-teen girl* Dynamic duo David and Phillipe of The Blonds bring literal form to the word “Catwalk”. Backstage was simply – totes amaze! Check out all the fab beauty looks from behind the scenes:
Where do we even start? Global leading brand in professional nail care CND Nails collaborated with MAC and once again Global Creative Director of Catwalk by TIGI Nick Irwin to bring the Cat Woman/Gotham City inspiration to life on the models.
It wouldn’t be The Blonds if there weren’t signature blond wigs involved in the process. The hair inspiration was “good girl gone bad” x “Cat woman meets Bettie Page”. Nick created the futuristic look giving the wig it’s form by placing the models’ hair in a high bun underneath the wig giving it a lifted effect. Once secured, the bangs were cut to an edgy v-shape towards the middle of the forehead matching the ends at the back.
The nail art was to-die-for. CND killed it. The most amazing part about these Joker nails were that they were all handmade and sculpted using CND’s newly released and patented Liquid & Powder System. It’s that good. As expected, the nails were over the top, fierce, and overall deserving of their own presentation.
Bravo to MAC who did their thing on perfectly portraying The Blonds theme for the night. The over exaggerated Paper Brow Appliqué, the feline shaped cream liner coinciding with Haute & Naughty lashes. On the lips, a combination of Fuchsia & Madly Magenta pigments were blended out from the center and lined with Designer Purple Pearl-glide Intense Eye Liner. Eye liner on the lips? Who would have thunk it.

We couldn’t ask for more fierceness. The Blonds are definitely the icing on the cake with many delicious flawless cherries on top. What a great way to top off Fashion Week!
