LBS Beauty Review: Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE Anti Aging Daily Serum

 
Earlier this year I turned the big 2-8. Yes, your girl is 28 years old, hence my Year of 28 PJ party bash. I hardly tell my age people because they’re normally either appalled that I’m not younger (based on my appearance) or surprised that I’m not older (based on my personality). I don’t know which one is worse! Anyhow, now that I’ve put my age on the table, let’s talk about it. I have a confession to make. I have this weird fear of getting old. I’m looking at 30 with a bow & arrow like “Don’t make any sudden movements.”  
 
It’s not that I’m scared of getting older, per se. I’m more concerned with preserving my youthful attributes. You know, flawless and even skin, no wrinkles, all that good stuff. The older I get, the more it scares me. If you want to get this beauty girl’s attention, dress the product up in a pretty package. The bottle is really chic and very Elizabeth Arden. Sophistication, honey. I mean, if I’m going to use anti-aging cream, it might as well be pretty, right?
 

 
What surprised me upon applying the product is that it’s bright yellow: something else that sets it apart. Most of my current serums are white or clear, so this was a pleasant surprise. It goes on incredibly smooth and sinks into the skin really seamlessly. That’s important for me. I can’t do serums that leave an oily residue or block pores.
 
Though they don’t claim the ingredients are extracted from the Fountain of Youth (has anyone been there? Still looking for flight tickets to the Fountain), they do formulate the serum with an ingredient called Idebenone – a powerful antioxidant in PREVAGE® that fights environmental threats including pollution, UV rays, and smoke. And finally, after packaging, feel and ingredients come the results! I’ve only been using the serum for about a week now and so far my skin feels amazing.
