LBS Beauty (Holiday): Evening Holiday Look Using Neutrogena Makeup

Neutrogena-Holiday-Makeup

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to attend a holiday beauty bash with the folks at Neutrogena. While there, my makeup was expertly put together by celebrity makeup artist Amy Oreseman and she perfected a really beautiful nighttime look using the following products:

Though nothing beats the hands of an expert MUA, I knew it wouldn’t serve any purpose for me to attend and receive products if I can’t show you guys how to get a similar look! What I love about Neutrogena in general is that they make great products that really take care of your skin and provide you with a great foundation. I’ve tried out so many of their collection including their Naturals collection and Pore Refining collection.

What I hadn’t tried before is their makeup. I was pleasantly surprised! They have a great eyeshadow palette that gives subtle color (more vivid with the right application) and they have these MoistureSmooth Color Sticks that are great lippies but I actually used a bit of the Warm Caramel color on my cheeks for a little glow.

Ok so here’s the step-by-step on how I accomplished the look using Neutrogena makeup:

What You Need:

Foundation (I used my own but Neutrogena also offers their Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup)

Neutrogena Creaseproof Eyeshadow in Forever Platinum

Neutrogena Longwear Shadow Palette in Smokey Steel (NEW)

Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara in Black

Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Warm Caramel

Red Lipstick of your choice (I used The Lip Bar – Crimson Wonderland)

How-To:

Step 1: Start with foundation. I used concealer as well to cover up dark circles under my eyes.

Step 2: Use Neutrogena Longwear Shadow Palette in Smokey Steel. Start with the top color all over the lids, the lightest color on your brow bone as a highlight and the medium-dark color in your. The apply the smoky color at the bottom as a liner on top and bottom. I also smudged a bit on the very outer corners of my eyes to give it a smokey effect.

Step 3: Use Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Warm Caramel on the cheeks for a subtle bronze/shimmer effect

Step 4: Apply Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara in Black to lashes (really LOVE this stuff – it doubled my lashes with one swipe)

Step 5: Finish with red lipstick of your choice.

That’s it folks! 5 simple steps and this took me less than 10 minutes to do. I’m pretty impressed with Neutrogena’s cosmetics line.

What do you think of this look? Would you try at home?
