First off, Happy New Year loves! So happy to see 2011 and I’m even happier that you’re joining me for another year. Now onto the good stuff…
So the Knowles sisters, Queen Bey (Beyonce) and Solo (Solange) attended the grand opening of Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada last week. I recently stumbled on this pic of the famed siblings. So you know I had to do a Fierce or Foolish right?
1. Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t like that dress. But it’s Beyonce. Somehow it works.
2. Of course I appreciate a good turban. But is Solo just “protective stylin'” it out? Or has she caught Poetic Justice fever with these braids?

They both look kinda foolish. I love Solo, but sometimes she tries too hard on that boho tip. Bey looks like she’s in the process of getting dressed–robe and hair still pinned up.
Beyonce look fierce and flawless, as usual. Of course Solange looks foolish, as usual.
i think it is half and half…i love them both so this is hard!
I am an addmitted Beyonce addict. She can pull off anything lol, including this frock.
Solo’s turban is cute too. I’m feeling her whole “boho chic” vibe

Is it just me or has Solange been trying too hard with the “boho/african/folk/ethnic” prints since she’s gone natural?

I love Beyonce’s look, the dress gives me an Asian vibe. Fierce! Solange’s braids make me feel nostalgic, maybe with a different outfit I would have loved the look more.
Well Since i wore PJ Braids for like two years while growing my hair out i’m going to say Fierce. Although I’m sure her haid is hurting…those things are wicked heave and i didn’t have them as long as she did.
Sometimes i think that Solo does try really hard to set herself apart from her sister. I don’t know about beyonce. I would love to see her kick off her shoes and just appear to have some fun. Sometimes she is too polished!
@ChellzBellz Girl, I agree about her always being “too polished”. I really feel sometimes like the public doesn’t really “know” Bey. She just seems so hidden to me, behind all that fluff. I think they look great, not a big fan of Solanges hair though. But they still look beautiful both of them 🙂
I love both looks! Solange said she was gonna get some Poetic Justice braids and I’m glad she did. Only Solo could pull off that hairstyle. And usually, I hate prints but Bey did it. *two snaps and a twist*
I’m happy I’m not the only one who has been contemplating getting the Poetic Justice braids… however, I’m gonna have to say both of these getups look quite foolish to me. Who was the stylist on this venture?? -__-
Beyonce’s dress is fierce! She’s got the Asian style thing going on and I love it with that belt. Hair was done well too. I love Solo’s braids, sadly I do not like the dress…foolish on the dress.
