Holiday Gift Guide with Simon Premium Outlets

Holiday shopping is on the horizon, and if you’re like me you’re probably already rolling your eyes. The long lines, the long lists and not to mention the toll it takes on your checkbook. Well, here at LoveBrownSugar you know we’re all about getting the look for less and saving a few coins so you can spend them on fun experiences (like travel or brunch – hello?) To make life easier for myself, I always come up with a themed list. Some people on my list love tech, others love jewelry and then some love smaller more personalized items. Whatever it is, group them according to theme and hit up the stores based on where most of your list lies. Here’s my list and what I scored at my local outlet – Jackson Premium Outlets in NJ.

For The Accessories Addict

What girl doesn’t love jewels and handbags, right? When it comes to shopping for my sisters and my best friends, I always opt for jewelry and handbags because they’re so easy but also can be made personal. Coach is always a winner with my sisters. It’s classic, has great quality and can be passed down. I’ve inherited quite a few classic Coach bags from my older sisters since the ‘80s and I cherish every one. So I headed straight there upon arrival at the Jackson Premium Outlets.

For my besties who are like me, a little younger and always on the hunt for the perfect statement baubles, I’ll opt for J.Crew pieces. Jewelry is great because you can pretty much guarantee (unless it’s a ring or something) that it will fit. J.Crew has some of the best statement necklaces on the market and they make great gifts.

For The Kids

There are SO many little ones in my family (I have one and my older sisters have two a piece!) so when it comes to shopping for the kids, I try to make it a one-stop shop. The Disney Store outlet is pretty universal and has everything from toys to sleepwear and even cutlery.

I stopped by and picked up a few puzzles, some stuffed animals and some new Minnie Mouse dishes I know Cadence is going to love.

 

For The Fitness Junkie

I admire the fitness junkies in my life and strive to be like them. It’s tough! But people like my younger brother (he’s a track star) keep me motivated to stay on track with my fitness regimen. So during the holidays, I thank them for keeping me inspired by gifting them with gear. Nike Factory Store is hands-down the best place to one-stop shop for the fitness junkies on your list.

For The Classic Man

My dad is a very simple and classic man. He likes just about everything you give him but his tried-and-true favorite gift is a bottle of Aramis. It’s his signature scent and he never deviates. If you have a classic man (or woman!) in your life, they are probably the same way. So you can never go wrong with a trip to the fragrance counter during holiday season. That’s why I made sure to stop by Perfumania to grab some signature fragrances for the classic men in my life, including my Dad.

Self-Indulgence

Any time I go holiday shopping, I inevitably end up picking something up for myself. If I’m shopping and something strikes my fancy I have to feed the urge. Typically if I’m in a hurry and doing last-minute shopping, I’ll opt for shoes. They instantly make me feel like a new person, I don’t have to take off my clothes to try them on and they are always reasonably priced at the outlets! So of course on this trip I stopped by and picked up a brand-new pair of shoes. My favorite shoe outlets to go to at the Jackson Premium Outlets are the Nine West outlet (where these boots are from!) and Famous Footwear.

I also picked up a handbag for myself at the Coach outlet while I was out gift-hunting. This pop of color makes my life. I couldn’t resist! For those of you lovelies who live other places (like NYC and beyond), Simon Premium Outlets are all over the country. Check their website for locations.
