On this past Tuesday night, I had the pleasure of attending a special pre-screening for Universal’s new film The Best Man Holiday. If you’ve ever seen or been a fan of the original The Best Man, you know that a sequel to the intriguing storyline makes total sense. Well, let me tell you I was in for a treat!

The folks at Universal sent over a lovely care package before the screening with The Best Man original DVD, a copy of The Best Man Holiday soundtrack (the music was REALLY good), some tee-shirts and a comfy blanket perfect for mid-winter movie nights.

On Tuesday, I headed to the AMC Loews in NYC (34th St) with some of my girlfriends and my mom to view the screening. I was BLOWN away. It was not only hilarious but it was so touching. The movie was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least but you left with such a warm feeling. You will laugh, you will cry, and everything in between when you head to see The Best Man Holiday.
If anything it gives you an overwhelming appreciation of the blessing of friendship. Good friends are hard to come by. It’s so important to hold onto the ones you have! Above I’m pictured with some good friends from high school who happened to be at the screening that night as well, including Kelly of Masque Mag. Everyone’s excited about #babybrownsugar obviously.
I especially loved getting inspiration from Sanaa Lathan’s hair & wardrobe throughout the film. The hair because, well, I’m obsessed with romantic curls. And the clothes…when you go see it, you’ll understand why!

All these fine men in one film? Yesss! Gotta love Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Terrence Howard and Harold Perrineau back at it again. The movie is officially in theatres today, November 15th. Bring your girlfriends, your boo, or your family and head out to see it – you won’t regret!

I ABSOLUTELY loved this movie! So proud and I had nothing to do with it. A definite must see for anyone who has not.
