Dark & Lovely sponsored the hair looks backstage at the Harlem’s Fashion Row S/S 2014 collection showings. Headed up by celebrity stylist Keith Campbell , he crafted signature hair looks for designers Deidre Jefferies, Kimberly Goldson and Kahindo Mateene.

Dark and Lovely at HFR_Sleek Braided Ponytail Look“For Deidra Jeffries, I wanted to bring the hair goddess meets hair accessories look together. I used some really cool gold coil and wrapped it around the hair for a very bold statement. Having fun with hair again for fashion. You see texture there. The long tied ponytail that marries extremely well with the whole look.”

Dark and Lovely at HFR_Tease and Pop Look“For Kimberly Goldson, we’re doing big textured hair. She’s pairing her looks with baseball caps so it’s fun but it’s a little couture, based on her garments. Everything in her collection is very seamless with straight lines so we wanted to the hair a bit deconstructed.”

Dark and Lovely at HFR_Braids with Afro Texture Look“We had alot of fun with these looks so you’ll be able to experience that once you see it on the runway. For the looks we used everything from the Optimum Care For Shine spray to the the Let’s Jam Custard.”

Loved all of the hair looks, from the sleek ponytail to the big textured curls! Would you try these looks at home?
