LBS Backstage Beauty: JINsoon for Tibi Spring/Summer 2014

JINsoon

If you’ve ever wondered about the talented hands behind runway nail art, get to know JINsoon. Korean born JINsoon Choi is well known for being one of the most influential manicurists in the industry. In case you haven’t figured out by the picture above, her signature designs focus on simplicity. She was named “Nail Guru” by The New York Times; a title well deserved with a laundry list of celebrity clients.

Tibi’s Spring/Summer 2014 Collection was inspired by the Tibi woman’s nomadic journey from Asia to Arizona as the “Traveler”. JINsoon derived the nail design inspiration from this concept and created a minimal yet symbolic look paying tribute to the muse behind the collection. The vertical/horizontal signs created on the nails are of the travelers’ symbol meaning “all right”.
