I’m very honored to present my very first feature with website SoulSociety101.com. They are a really dope online platform dedicated to progressive young black professionals who enjoy travel, food and culture.
They have a “Traveling Beauties” series in which they profile different women on their love for travel. Of course, as a travel junkie I jumped at the chance to gush about my travel experiences and favorite places to eat. Here’s a quick snippet:
Soul Society 101: What has been your favorite place to travel to so far?
Christina: My favorite place in the world has to be Italy. I went back in college while studying abroad and it just stole my heart. Florence, Rome, Venice – I love them all. Italians like to eat too. And I love to eat so it feels like home. Next to Italy, I’d say US Virgin Islands. They are so peaceful and amazingly beautiful. You don’t need a passport to get there which I think is awesome and part of my family is from there so it holds a special place in my heart.
