LBS in Los Angeles: Night 1

As promised, here’s a recap of my look and the festivities on my first night in LA. Yesterday, I posted all about my daytime look which I wanted to be comfy and chic. For the evening, I decided to switch it up… [CONTINUE]
So for the face, I went with a light bronzed look with a sultry red lip. Using the same Rachel Roy Day & Night Eyes Shadow palette I used in my last post, I tried a combination of bronzes, golds and a touch of frosty blue.

On the apples of my cheeks, I used an Illuminator from Lisi Cosmetics as well as their blush and a bit of their bronzer. They reflect light really well.

For my lip, I opted for this red from Covergirl – Lip Perfection in “Hot”.

As for jewels, I wore a House of Harlow Sunburst Cocktail ring ($50), H&M chain bracelet, and a House of Harlow Sunburst Pendant on Chain ($63) that you’ll see below.

I wore my Allesandra Keyhole Satchel again, which went perfectly with my crisp white Fashion To Figure Hearts-a-Flutter Side Ruffle Dress. ($36).

That night, Ford took all of us Ford Hotspot bloggers to the amazing Rivera Restaurant in LA.

The service there was superb. We had at least 6 – 8 courses of tapas before our entrees, which was amazing.

If you’re into Latin Fusion food, definitely check out the La Rivera Restaurant in downtown LA.

The food was delish!
I also randomly ran into former XScape member LaTocha Scott who was staying in my hotel for the BET Awards. Random right? This girl can blow! She was always one of my favorites of the group. She mentioned that she has some new music coming out soon, and a new single called “Complicated” with Wale.

Thoughts on my nighttime look? I’m still quite the novice when it comes to fancy, dramatic makeup. Any tips?
