Known for her gorgeous gowns, designer Kati Stern did it again with her Venexiana Spring 2015 collection during NYFW. There was no shortage of fabulousness with this showing, Kati gave us sequins, metallics, florals, embellished lace, and much more. From start to finish onlookers were stunned as red carpet worthy gowns floated down the runway one after the other. Audible ooooos and ahhhhs were heard as we witnessed how Kati infused both elegance and edge with her over the top detailing. Models wore punk inspired hair and makeup executed through swept back hair, dramatic heavily lined eye makeup, and metallic gold lips.
Pictures do this dress no justice. One of my personal favorites, the way this halter gown moved resembled liquid metal. Literally as it passed I wanted to run up and touch it, but knew I would probably be tackled by security. Le Sigh
This girly number was another stand out piece for me. The sequined appliche atop the smooth silk jersey made for a very strong statement. In my mind, a young bubblegum starlet like Ariana Grande would be so super cute in this!
C’mon now gold dress! Serving drama, this golden masterpiece is everything and more. From the slight chevron pattern to its figure hugging slink, if I had my way I’d get get one in every color. Judge if you want, but at least I’d be fabulous. Shrugs
This collection is all about being bold and unashamed to wave your fashion flag. Wearing a dress from the Venexiana Spring 2015 show will get you noticed. Now it’s time to sound off.
