It’s been frigidly cold outside this February, but that didn’t stop me from attending a fabulous New York Fashion Week event hosted by the creator of Wonder Curl Scarlett Rocourt and Master Stylist and Barber Tamika Wesley. I witnessed these two super talented #curlybossladies showcase their passion for natural hair. I got a chance to see Tamika showcase the hottest natural hair styles for the spring season on live models!

At the Wesley Styles Studio guests were treated to delicious cupcake treats and sexy pink cocktails handcrafted by Scarlett herself. As we sipped our cocktails and munched on a little sweetness, Scarlett explained her collection in detail to all the attendees answering their questions with kindness and patience.
We also watched in awe as Tamika seamlessly created beautiful hairstyles in her chair using products from the Wonder Curl line effortlessly.
Most of the curly styles were created using the line’s Butter than Love Pudding as a styler. Not much product is needed with the butter as a little goes a long way. Tamika explained that each model dried their twists under a hooded hair dryer for at least an hour before taking them down. The results were stunning!
One of the products that Scarlett actually tested on me at the event was the Wondercurl Hydrating Rose Water Spritz. This is a light mist that you can use practically anywhere! From your hair to your face and even your nails. This stuff is absolutely amazing. I loved it.
